Sparrow Mobile Health Clinic taking patients Friday

Posted

THURSDAY, June 20 — A large Sparrow coach bus will be parked outside of Advent House Ministries Friday at 1:30 p.m. The public can line up for free, basic health services and screenings. The current project rotates between five sites across Ingham County: Allen Neighborhood Center, Edgewood Village, Capital Commons Senior Center, South Washington Park Apartments and Advent House.

The new clinic — housed in a motorhome — includes exam rooms, a waiting area and testing equipment. The bus is a result of a collaboration between Sparrow Hospital, the Ingham County Health Department and Dean Transportation.
