NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

East Lansing Historic District Commission

Notice is hereby given of the following public hearings to be held by the East Lansing Historic District Commission on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 7:00 p.m., at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road, East Lansing, Michigan 48823:

1. A public hearing will be held to consider a Notice to Proceed request from Bob Martinez on behalf of DTN Management for new handrails for exterior stairways at 314 & 316 Oakhill Avenue.
2. A public hearing will be held to consider a Notice to Proceed request from Julie Stevenson on behalf of Beta Xi House Corp of Delta Gamma for the replacement of a circular third floor vent at 365 N. Harrison with an egress window.

A staff report (Agenda Item Report) for each public hearing will be published on the City’s website the Friday before the meeting. Materials related to the requests are available to review at the Department of Planning, Building, and Development, East Lansing City Hall, 410 Abbot Road, East Lansing, MI, 48823 between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, or online at www.cityofeastlansing.com/currentapplications. 

The City of East Lansing will provide reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as interpreters for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities upon request received by the City seven (7) calendar days prior to the meeting.
