WEDNESDAY, Sept. 9 — New to Greater Lansing, but not so much to the cannabis industry, Bazonzoes Provisioning Center opens tomorrow on Lansing’s north side at 2101 W. Willow St.

The shop — which is only licensed to sell medical marijuana — will host a grand opening tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. featuring non-medicated food products and discounts. Recreational potheads can stay tuned. Recreational sales are expected to begin next month.

“We are finally ready,” said co-owner Ryan McMullen. “We had a soft opening last week so that our employees are ready to go and to get some more (customers) in here. We are now just waiting to get our product up. We want to impress people when they come in.”

McMullen said delaying recreational sales was vital to ensure medical patients have enough variety to choose from while shopping for various smoke, edible and topical cream products.

A second Lansing location is under construction at the corner of American Road and Cedar Street near US-69. McMullan said it’ll open within the next year.

McMullen said he anticipates a high customer turnout this week — especially with his 20% off discounts.

“We are very competitively priced,” McMullen added. “I can tell you with our 20% off, we are the lowest price in town by far, anywhere.”

Grams of flowers start at $12, with discounts available as quantities increase. Visit bazonzoes.biz for more details or to browse a full catalogue of available products. Bazonzoes also operates an Instagram page and will launch on apps like Leafly and Weedmaps this week.

Call-ahead orders are also available, as well as options for curbside pickup. Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
