Common Ground Music Festival postponed until July 2021

THURSDAY, May 7 — If you were hoping to jam out to “All the Small Things” and other blink-182 hits at Cooley Law School Stadium, you’ll have to wait until 2021. Today’s press release from Common Ground Music Festival organizers announced that the concert is officially postponed.

“The decision was made after much discussion and careful consideration. The painful reality of COVID-19 is the reason behind our first summer off in 21 years, but it will not be the end of Common Ground,” reads the music festival’s latest Facebook announcement. “We have a tough year ahead of us, but our team looks forward to reuniting with you al and have already started to make sure summer 2021 is one to remember.”

Tickets that were already purchased are valid for the rescheduled 2021 event. The statement implores ticketholders to roll their purchase over to next year.

“We are an independent organization and could really use the financial support of our great community in getting through these challenging times,” the release states. “If you need the cash now or can’t attend the rescheduled event, we get it and have your back, you can get a refund.”
