ADOPTED ORDINANCE # 1321

Lansing City Council adopted an Ordinance of the City of Lansing, Michigan, to to add Chapter 887 of the Lansing Codified Ordinances, Sections 887.01-887.07, to authorize a payment in lieu of taxes program in conformity with the State of Michigan property tax exemption alternative, authorized under 1966 PA 346, as amended; specifically MCL 125.1415a, which permits a city to elect to consider a payment in lieu of taxes for a housing project developed or rehabilitated for workforce housing after the passage of an enabling ordinance.

Effective date:           Upon publication
