CITY OF LANSING PUBLIC ACCURACY TEST FOR THE TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2024 ELECTION

Notice is hereby given that the public test of the program, which will be used for tabulating the results of the Election to be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024 in the City of Lansing, will be conducted at the Reo Elections Office located at 1221 Reo Road on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.

 

The public accuracy test is conducted to determine that the program used to tabulate the results of the election counts the votes in the manner prescribed by law.

 

ABSENT VOTER BALLOTS

Any registered voter may request an Absent Voter Ballot.  No reason required. 

 

We must have a signed application to issue an Absent Voter Ballot. Applications are available at www.lansingvotes.gov or by calling 517-483-4131.

 

The Lansing City Clerk’s Office, 124 W. Michigan Ave., 9th Floor, will be open Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to issue absentee ballots to qualified electors.

 

The Reo Elections Office, 1221 Reo Road, will be open:

  • Weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.;
  • Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

to register voters and to issue absentee ballots to qualified electors.

 

Friday, February 23, 2024 at 5:00 pm is the deadline to request an absentee ballot be mailed to you.

 

Monday, February 26, 2024 at 4:00 pm is the deadline to request an absentee ballot in person except for those who register to vote on Election Day. 

 

Those registering to vote on Election Day, Tuesday, February 27, 2024, are eligible to receive an absent voter ballot at the Lansing City Clerk’s Office or the Reo Elections Office.
