Arrangements for obtaining the instructions in these alternative formats can be made by contacting the Clerk’s Office in advance of the election. All polling locations are accessible for voters with disabilities.

Photo Identification OR Affidavit Required to Vote:
Under a Michigan law upheld by the Michigan Supreme Court, ALL voters will be asked to show photo identification to vote at the polls. Voters without identification will be required to fill out and sign an affidavit to receive a ballot.

ABSENT VOTER BALLOTS
Any registered voter may request an Absent Voter Ballot. No reason required.
The Lansing City Clerk’s Office must have an application to issue an Absent Voter Ballot. Applications are available at the locations referenced in the above tables or by visiting our website at lansingvotes.gov.
Friday, February 23, 2024 at 5:00 pm is the deadline to request an absentee ballot be mailed to you.
Monday, February 26, 2024 at 4:00 pm is the deadline to request an absentee ballot in person except for those who register to vote on Election Day.
Those registering to vote on Election Day, Tuesday, February 27, 2024, are eligible to receive an absent voter ballot at the Lansing City Clerk’s Office, locations referenced in the above table.
