TUESDAY, July 21 — Zingerman’s Delicatessen is embarking on a road trip all across Michigan from its home base in Ann Arbor to sling some of its famous Reuben sandwiches, along with several other items from its gourmet menu. On Saturday, the tour will find itself here in Lansing at Michigrain Distillery on Shiawassee Street.
"We're taking the Deli on the road to visit all of our Reuben-loving friends this summer. By bringing the Zingerman's experience across our beautiful state, we can limit crowds at the Deli as we practice physical distancing and have some fun supporting our friends, the tour stop hosts, along the way," said Rodger Bowser, head chef and managing partner of Zingerman's Delicatessen in a press release.
Lansingites that plan on attending the tour stop can place preorder goods by Tuesday and pick them up on Saturday at Michigrain Distillery. And don’t forget that Michigrain Distillery has its own stock of premium spirits, and will take 10 percent off your drink tab if you dine-in. You may also show your receipt to get cocktails to-go.
