The Pickle Mafia holiday show

Rochester, New York-based instrumental trio the Pickle Mafia will return to Lansing for a special holiday show 7 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 14) at UrbanBeat. The group, comprising pianist Charlie Lindner, drummer Marco Cirigliano and bassist Ben Chilbert, blends jazz with elements of hip-hop, Latin and pop music, resulting in a genre it calls “arena jazz fusion.” The ensemble has garnered a loyal fan base across the country, with its YouTube videos of performances and recording sessions racking up more than 10,000 hours of views.
