SUNDAY, Jan. 17 — U.S. Rep. Elissa Slotkin is calling for a sense of unity among Michiganders amid expectations of armed and violent protests in cities across the nation — including Lansing — during the remaining days before President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration on Wednesday.
Slotkin stood watch as authorities prepared for large protests that never fully materialized in Lansing on Sunday. In a brief interview with City Pulse, she called for residents to “focus on the things we still have in common.” Click here to watch the full three-minute interview with Slotkin.
