Riverwalk Theatre’s Holiday Cabaret returns in full swing

Posted

FRIDAY, Dec. 6 — Riverwalk’s Theatre’s Holiday Cabaret features traditional holiday numbers with a dash of vaudeville humor and Vegas showmanship, all wrapped into a three-day showcase.

Directed by Meghan Eldred-Woolsey, the second year of the cabaret revue boasts a wide selection of holiday music and dance routines the whole family can enjoy. The show runs from Friday, Dec. 20, to Saturday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m. A matinee Sunday, Dec. 22, begins at 3 p.m.

According to Michael Siracuse, Riverwalk’s house manager, this year’s lineup will vary slightly from previous ones.

Familiar names include the John Dale Smith Trio and Karyn’s Dance Place, as well as a strong cast of both new and veteran vocalists comprising Erin Biel, Larissa Gleason-Clark, Aja Jenks, Kelley Lofton, Robert Mueller, Kathryn Mulcahy, Bob Purosky, Tricia Rogers, Travis Williams and Adam Woolsey.

Audiences can expect renditions of “Silver Bells” and “We Need A Little Christmas” from the musical “Mame.”

During the show, Riverwalk will accept donations for Holy Cross Services to help homeless and at-risk individuals and families in our community. These supplies may include travel-size toiletry and hygiene items, new socks or undergarments, as well as new or gently used winter clothing.
