NOTICE OF ELECTION FOR THE SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, MAY 6, 2025 WILLIAMSTOWN TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN

TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF WILLIAMSTOWN TOWNSHIP:

Notice is hereby given that a special election will be held for Williamstown Township voters residing in the Perry School District on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Perry Township, 2770 W. Ellsworth Rd., Perry, Michigan. Polls are open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Perry Public Schools will be voting on the following millage proposal as presented and listed below:

Shall Perry Public Schools, Shiawassee and Ingham Counties, Michigan, borrow the sum of not to exceed Nineteen Million Six Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($19,650,000) and issue its general obligation unlimited tax bonds therefore, in one or more series, for the purpose of:  erecting, furnishing, and equipping an addition to the middle and high school building; remodeling, furnishing and refurnishing, and equipping and re-equipping school buildings, including for school security; acquiring and installing instructional technology; erecting, furnishing, equipping, preparing, developing, and improving athletic fields and facilities, playgrounds, and sites?

Absentee ballots are available; registered voters in Williamstown Township may contact the Clerk’s office to obtain a ballot.
