WEDNESDAY, May 1 — A familiar voice will become a face on television starting next week. Radio host Deb Hart is joining morning programming at Fox 47.

Hart was a longtime cohost of the morning drive show on WMMQ 94.9 FM. When she left in January, she planned to follow other interests, including being a yoga instructor.

But Fox 47 pursued her when “Morning Blend” cohost Mary Turner decided to leave. Station general manager Gary Baxter said Bob Hoffman, the other “Morning Blend” host, suggested Hart.

“We jumped at the chance,” Baxter said. “Between Deb’s personality and her chemistry” with Hoffman, “she really is the perfect addition to our team.”

Hart will begin taping tomorrow. Segments begin airing next week.

“Morning Blend is shot in three-minute segments that air three times between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. weekdays. The content is interviews focused on local businesses, nonprofits and events.
