WEDNESDAY, Aug. 12 — Even a global pandemic won’t be stopping Lansing Mayor Andy Schor’s 20th annual senior activities fair later this month. It’ll just look a bit different this year.

A “drive-thru” version of the senior activities fair is scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to 1:30 pm. on Thursday, Aug. 27, at the Schmidt Community Center parking lot, 5825 Wide Road. Senior citizens can participate by driving through to pick up a free boxed lunch and an informational grab bag.

All staff will wear masks and participate in proper sanitation procedures, officials said. Vendors can participate by providing information or giveaways for the grab bags. Contact Emily Stevens at 517-483-6047 or emily.stevens@lansingmi.gov for more details or to ask questions.
