Sadie Bass, a Bath native who moved to Nashville, Tennessee, in 2020 to pursue a career in country music, will return home to perform 2 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 13) at Laingsburg’s McClintock Park. She’ll be joined by guitarist Zack Hayes.
Bass gained national recognition as a contestant on season 22 of NBC’s “The Voice” and has since released six studio singles and opened for dozens of national acts, including Brantley Gilbert, HARDY, Chase Rice and Tyler Farr.
An hour prior to Bass’ 90-minute set, the winners of Laingsburg’s summer open mic series will perform. In addition to music, the Laingsburg Lions Club will serve a shrimp boil from noon to 5 p.m. Hamburger baskets will also be available, as will baked goods from Laingsburg coffee shop and bakery Wholesome Grounds.
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. For more information, visit facebook.com/@SadieBassCountryMusic.
