Craft and Vendor Show at the Lansing Mall

The Lansing Mall is hosting a one-off marketplace featuring local vendors and crafters this Saturday and Sunday. Items for sale include homemade bath and skin care products, jewelry, books, original artwork and toys. For more information, follow the host’s Facebook page.

Think Tank Workshops at Impression 5 Science Center

Impression 5 is hosting a series of educational crafting workshops for young learners. Saturday’s program will teach attendees about the fundamentals of working with clay in order to create a heat-reactive tea light lantern that changes color when exposed to different temperatures. F-45 Training Grand Opening

F-45 Training is East Lansing’s newest fitness center studio, and is celebrating its grand opening on Saturday. Trainers will be on location and are offering workouts at 8:30 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. More information, including how to sign up for a 7-day trial is available at F45training.com/eastlansing.

5th Annual Aux Petit Soins King Cake Party (Virtual)

Join Lansing’s French cultural center Aux Petit Soins for a virtual baking class. Attendees will learn the ins and outs of crafting the perfect king cake. King cake is a desert that is part of the French Epiphany celebration and is commonly associated with New Orleans and Mardi Gras. For $30, attendees will receive all of the ingredients they need to bake the cake, or they can pay $10 if they plan to use their own ingredients. Click here to register.
