Fun summer festival comes to Lansing’s east side neighborhood

Posted

The Eastside Summer Fest is a celebration of local artists and the Lansing community. The festival will transform the eastside Lansing neighborhood into a pop-up bazaar of vendors dealing all sorts of arts and crafts. You could find a neat treat for yourself as a reward for getting through the work week.

The pop-up marketplace features more than 90 vendor booths and will stretch from Marshall Street to Foster Avenue. There will be a lineup of live entertainment going down in the lot on the corner of Fairview Avenue and Michigan Avenue. Those who head out to the festival on Saturday will be able to enjoy a classic car show that will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If that wasn’t enough, there is also a schedule of family-friendly activities where children of all ages can participate.
