THURSDAY, Dec. 3 — While the main event is still postponed for 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic, Capital City Film Festival is hosting two days of free drive-in screenings on Dec.18-19 to help tide film fans over.

Capital City Film Festival’s organizers have curated more than 100 films for its upcoming 10th edition and will be sharing a handful of them drive-in style. The December CCFF mini-festival will kickoff by previewing its projection mapping installation, which will formally debut at the main festival in spring, on the 14-story facade of the downtown Comerica Bank building. Following that, films will be shown in the area between the Knapp’s Centre and the Cooley Temple building. Attendees will be able to enjoy all screenings from the warmth of their vehicles.

More details on film schedules and precise location details will be announced soon on capitalcityfilmfest.com.
