Audio Air Force brings 'Macbeth' to Robin Theatre

Posted

THURSDAY, Aug. 22 — The bard’s classic tale of betrayal and paranoia will get turned on its heels for an audio-only production. Performed with live music, voice actors and sound effects, Audio Air Force adapts the Shakespearean epic production for an old-time radio format.

The Lansing-based Audio Air Force is a theatrical organization dedicated to live performances in radio. Starring will be Steve Ledyard as Macbeth and Patti Spinner as Lady Macbeth. Actors will deliver lines at microphones while a live band and the sound effects crew set the mood. The show marks the fifth anniversary of the organization’s founding.
