Thank you, City Pulse, for covering what is going on in Williamston.

Unfortunately, it is not true that the recallers only have one vote on our school board right now. Julie Conley, a vocal opponent of inclusive policies who ran alongside the recall candidates for an open seat, also won a six-year seat on the board, and she and Potter are both on the policy subcommittee that decides which polices to review and change.

There is still pressure from the anti-inclusion camp to abolish the policies. This didn’t end with the election.
