Downtown Lansing erupted in beer and ‘80s nostalgia when the 10th Annual Common Ground Festival kicked off Monday at Riverfront Park.Aside from easily accessible alcohol and a smokin’ performance from headliners Huey Lewis and The News, the opening day was topped off by being perfectly sunny.

The 10th annual Common Ground Festival ended with a blast of Stones-inspired rock ‘n’ roll and massive radio hits. With co-headliners Jet and 3 Doors Down closing out the week, it seems the fest saved its youngest and most powerful weapons for last.
