This course will introduce you to the basic approaches and techniques involved in drawing objects using the concepts of line, shape, value, and perspective and using a variety of materials such as charcoal, graphic pencil, and felt tip pen. In this studio course you will learn about the development of imagery and expression, observational and imaginative drawing. Identify light sources and value gradations. Demonstrate proportion and scale. Intended for non-art majors, this class is open to all who want to draw.
