(SCENE) Metrospace will be hosting an eclectic concert featuring local acts Nathan Alan and Chemical Edge, with special guest DL Rossi from Nashville, Tennessee, on Thursday, Nov 7. Music begins at 9 p.m. and there is a $5 cover at the door. Nathan Alan is a local folk musician who has been playing in the community for a couple of years now. Alan is a native of Northern Michigan who now resides in the greater Lansing Area. His songwriting is inspired by the people and things around him, and is greatly drawing from aspects of nature. Each of his song tells a story. For more info, please visit: http://nathanalan.bandcamp.com/. DL Rossi is a singer-songwriter based in Nashville, TN. After spending most of his career as a drummer and working in the corporate church in his hometown of Sterling Heights, Michigan, life sent him a curve ball in the form of cancer. Thankfully, surgery left DL cancer free, and with a new perspective. This new perspective brought with it a new-found courage. He decided to release music he had kept very personal; songs that spanned the past 12 years of his life that, up until then, he had never felt comfortable sharing with others. His upcoming album tells the story of his deeply personal struggles with anxiety and depression while stumbling through love and romance, the church, anger, self-worth and fear.
