by Marisol Dorantes
Friday, Feb. 1 — We all have those days when we’re just not up to dressing in the flashiest outfit in our wardrobe — when casual Friday becomes the theme of any given day. What’s red got to do with it?

by Marisol Dorantes
Friday, Feb. 15 — A distinguishing trait of February is the screaming color red — you can thank Valentine’s Day for that. Red can be an overwhelming color to incorporate into a look, but if done right, the results can be stunning. Worldly inspiration

by Marisol Dorantes
Friday, March 1 — This week, instead of just talking about where Lansing fashionistas go shopping, I decided to explore the areas where these trendsetters shop for inspiration. Shuhang Yu was browsing a section of delicate white blouses at Forever 21 in the Eastwood Towne Center that reflected the style she was wearing.

by Marisol Dorantes
Friday, March 8 — Few things are more comfortable and less creative than a sweat shirt — or so I thought until Peter Ferstz proved me wrong. He artfully turns a college student’s item of fashion suicide into a trend-setting piece.
