In Section: A&E blog Posted By: JamesSanford

Student artwork from Donley, Whitehills, Marble and Glencairn elementaries, as well as Stepping Stones Montessori School, will be exhibited at Grove Gallery Co-op, beginning March 1. The gallery is located at 325 Albert St. in East Lansing. Gallery hours are noon-6 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and noon-4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. A reception with the student artists will be held Sunday, March 7. Work from the Marble Art Club will also be available for silent auction.

The show will run through April 25 to celebrate April as the Month of Young Child. "Grove Gallery Co-op is very excited to highlight the talent of local elementary students. We felt it was important to give give young artists a chance to experience their work in a gallery setting. This show will also emphasize the dedication to the arts of our local elementary art instructors," said Grove Gallery manager Jillian Stapleton.
