"Music at the Museum" returns

The Michigan Historical Museum and the Michigan State University College of Music are once again teaming up for a new series of  “Music at the Museum” programs, starting this Sunday. The concerts showcase various student chamber music groups in hour-long performances. 

Woodwinds will be on the program at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7. A string ensemble will perform at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 7, and percussion will take the stage at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Apr. 11. All concerts are free and will take place at the Michigan Historical Museum, 702 W. Kalamazoo St. in 
downtown Lansing. 

Refreshments will be served and concertgoers will have an opportunity to meet and mingle with the musicians afterward. For more information, visit www.michigan.gov/museum or call (517) 373-3559.
