The top 10 property tax delinquents in Ingham County

The annual list of property tax delinquents in Ingham County keeps growing, but at a much less alarming rate than recent years. And the Ingham County treasurer is hesitantly hopeful that the amount of foreclosure activity is about to plateau.

Can Grebner send Lindemann down the drain?

However, sources around town tell me Grebner doesn´t believe Lindemann is operating the Drain Commissioner´s Office as frugally as he could. I couldn´t get anyone to elaborate on what that means. It´s probably because few people on earth understand the hidden corners of the Ingham County´s budget like Grebner.

Gov. Snyder, keep your word: Veto this bill

Gov. Rick Snyder’s press secretary said last week that if a bill banning cities and public schools from offering domestic partner benefits such as health care cleared the Legislature, he’d only sign the measure if public universities weren’t thrown into the pot.
