Strange Arrangement at The Loft
Since Strange Arrangement formed in 1996 the band has been recording jam rock heavily influenced by Steely Dan and The Grateful Dead, with an occasional deviation into 80’s synth sounds. Strange Arrangement was named the Home Grown Music Network’s “Artist of the Year” in 2011, and Jamband.com recently listed their spring sampler album as #8 on their top 25 Jamband list. Based out of Chicago, Strange Arrangement is composed of Joe Hettinga (keyboard, vocals), Steve Sinde (drums, vocals), Jim Conry (guitar, vocals), and Kevin Barry (bass, vocals). Also performing Thursday will be electronic/funk fusion group Eumatik, a trio specializing in melting modern and vintage music technology.
