Too hot to handle

Greg Nagy's concert Summer Concert Series show has been canceled because of high heat

by City Pulse Staff

Friday, July 6 — Usually when a show is canceled because it's "too hot," local censors are to blame. But it's Mother Nature who's responsible for the City of East Lansing's decision to call of tonight's Greg Nagy concert.

Because of the Excessive Heat Warning issued by the National Weather Service, Nagy's show won't be happening. However, the appearance by The Sea Cruisers at the East Plaza at University Place in downtown East Lansing is still set for 7 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free, and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
