'Real Time' gets real

Bill Maher comes to the Wharton Center June 17

by City Pulse Staff

Thursday, April 12 — Bill Maher, the always outspoken star of HBO's "Real Time," takes his act on the road this summer. One of his stops will be the Wharton Center, where he'll perform at 7 p.m. June 17.

Maher's acerbic observations about the political scene have made him one of the country's most controversial and thought-provoking talk-show hosts. He was also the star of the 2008 documentary, "Religulous," which took aim at organized religion.

Tickets — priced at $35, $50 and $65 — go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 13. They're available at (800) WHARTON, or online at www.whartoncenter.com.
