Mackerel Sky's grand re-opening in its new location at 211 M.A.C. Ave. is going to happen a couple days later than originally planned.

A sign on the gallery/gift shop's door apologizes for the missed deadline — it was supposed to be open Wednesday — but says Mackerel should be back up and running Friday, March 12.

Linda and Tom Dufelmeier originally opened Mackerel Sky Gallery of Contemporary Craft in 1990. The previous address was at 217 Ann St. Plaza in East Lansing. The gallery Web site is www.mackerelsky.com
