“Landscape, Faith, People: Mexican Photographs by Paul Strand.” American photographer and filmmaker, Paul Strand (1890-1976), was both a documentarian and artist. These twenty photographs in Strand’s Mexican Portfolio, taken between 1932 and 1933, combine the finest quality of photography with Strand’s sense of social responsibility and concern for the issues at that time in Mexico.
