Work that never ends

As head gardener at Cooley Gardens, he gardens (which means he tears out old plants, plants new pants, waters, mows, maintains, all while inspiring his interns and volunteers) all day and then goes to his Okemos home where he gardens more and spends time with his wife, Lynette Biery, and daughter, Emma.”

Afternoons at Cooley Gardens
As I walked up the sidewalk to the east entrance of Cooley Gardens, lots of things in bloom popped in front of me. I knew not what one plant was. But it was beautiful. Vibrant pinks. Soft pinks. Huge white blooms. Lots and lots of green and purple. Bumble bees. Trees and grass. And that was before the gate.

Large office building proposed for Renaissance Zone
If you are concerned about the glut of vacant office space in downtown Lansing, get a load of this:
Developer Sam Eyde is asking the city to let him build a three-story, 150,000-square-foot office building in the Seven Block Renaissance Zone southwest of the Capitol. It is a half-mile from where construction has just begun on the 110,000-square-foot Boji office building.
