Finding peace through movement

Imagine springtime in China and you go out every morning to the city park or village square and do Tai Chi or Chi Gong with your neighbors. In reality, it’s springtime in Lansing and your body may be feeling like it needs to stretch and move. You may be feeling an underlying anxiousness with the loud clatter of war and violence swarming around you. This article will introduce you to some of your neighbors, people who are finding peace and joy through movement. Described are four holistic movement forms available in the Lansing area. They are Aikido, traditional Qigong, Chilel Qigong and Nia.
