Giving
art its due Kresge kicks off campaign to quadruple museum space

The first thing a visitor notices when walking up to the front door
of MSUs Kresge Art Museum is that there is no front door.
To lay eyeballs on the variegated riches of mid-Michigans only
art museum, the visitor must pass a low brick bunker, built in Fallout
Shelter Academic style at its most uninspired, then make a dog-leg left
turn along cinderblock hallways that have housed the universitys
art department since 1959. That bunker out front turns out to be the
museum.

no longer: Ingham County shelter and animal support group at odds over
