Lansing sizzles as a theater town

By UTE von der HEYDEN

When it comes to locally produced theater, Lansing is no slouch. As a matter of fact, for a city its size, this is one hot theater town.
That’s the enthusiastic opinion of some of the leading voices in Lansing theater. Parking aside, new mall shopper’s dream
Everybody is addicted to something. My friend Jenni bites her nails down to the tips so that they’re never longer than her fingers. My sister talks on her cell phone so much that she developed an imprint of the word “Nokia” on her ear. And my mom will never leave the house unless her bed is made.
I too have an addiction.

Rally for Peace leaves unsettled emotions
Those entering the Breslin Center at Gate D on Sunday for the very low-key Rally for Peace with Jesse Jackson likely missed one of the day’s mysteries. (There were more to come.)
