if the Lansing State Journal and its big daddy Gannett hadnt announced
plans to start a weekly alternative newspaper in our turf.
Our turf isnt Lansing; we know we dont own it, we cover
it. Our turf is alternative newspapering. We are the alternative.
How can an LSJ/Gannett product be an alternative to itself? (One of
